Would you like to join Ramboll ENVIRON in developing its international environmental portfolio and become a key player in implementing our environmental projects on an international arena? Join the Department for International Project Management You will join a team of international consultants responsible for acquiring and managing projects within both the environment and energy sector. We work in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural environment with a high level of collaboration across divisions in the Ramboll Group. Our clients primarily comprise of International Financial Institutions (IFIs) such as the European Commission (EC), European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD), Danida and the European Investment Bank (EIB). We currently are implementing projects in a number of countries including Macedonia, Romania, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Nigeria. Responsibility Your role as an ESIA consultant will be to work with your colleagues in acquiring, implementing and managing projects within the ESIA sector internationally. Your involvement will primarily entail: •Contributing to and managing large ESIAs of large infrastructure projects across differing sectors e.g. energy, transport •Leading the development of Ramboll ENVIRON’s business in the Nordics with regards to the provision of assistance to leading financial institutions in all aspects of environmental and social compliance and risk assessment •Develop internal competencies within the Nordics with regards the provision of assistance to leading financial institutions in all aspects of environmental and social compliance and risk assessment Your Profile You should have a master’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science or equivalent with 8 – 10 years’ experience working on a range of ESIAs across many sectors internationally as well as an in-depth knowledge of international environmental and social standards. Our ideal candidate is a team player and have: •Extensive experience in managing large ESIAs across different sectors •Extensive knowledge and experience of IFC standards •Environment & social risk management of investment projects for the financial sector •In-depth knowledge of Environment & Social Standards e.g. Equator Principles, EBRD PR, ISO 14001, EMAS •Experience in the provision of second opinions on specialised environmental and social documentation •Experience in developing sustainability policy & strategy and CSR reporting •A proven communicator with ability to establish and foster close relations with clients •Ability to develop new business and prepare tenders within the ESIA and lender requirements sector •A desire to work internationally and willing to travel extensively •Fluency in English a necessity, fluency in a Scandinavian language an advantage Working at Ramboll To work at Ramboll means being part of a people organisation.
