- Project Management - Denmark - Bagsværd Are you looking for an opportunity to influence and help drive offshoring in Novo Nordisk’s production area, Product Supply, and be part of the unit driving the long term strategic direction for Product Supply? Do you have a can-do mindset and the guts to embark on a highly interesting and complex project management journey? About the department PS Business Development is a central business support unit in Product Supply, among other responsible for managing Novo Nordisk’s production capacity planning, investment portfolio, long term financial planning and annual Business Plan process. The latter two are among the key responsibilities for Business Plan & Projects – one of the three departments in PS Business Development. You will report to the department manager and join a team of 6 dedicated colleagues. The job Currently Product Supply’s collaboration with Novo Nordisk’s Global Service Centre (GSC) in Bangalore is fairly limited, however to meet future demands Product Supply is now seeking to expand its offshoring activities. In this newly established position you will assume the overall project responsibility of identifying, driving and supporting offshoring activities within Product Supply, eg IT services, financial reporting and data management. Key tasks include, but are not confined to: Leading, facilitating and coordinating all transition activities from the relevant production areas. Preparing the overall project plan, tracking project milestones and reporting progress and performance. Developing customised transition plans and support end-to-end transitions. Support all areas in identifying potential processes that can be transitioned to the GSC. Ensuring solid change management and risk management processes involving all relevant stakeholders. Establishing clear governance structures. Leveraging project support and guidance from other relevant areas in Novo Nordisk. Driving communication and best practice sharing across Product Supply. Further professionalising offshoring work within Product Supply To manage the high complexity of this project, all of the above tasks will be done in close collaboration with the respective local project sponsors within Product Supply and together with the GSC. Consequently, some travelling may be required. As this is a new position, your own personal drive, energy and curiosity will play a pivotal part in shaping and developing the position as well as your responsibilities within this project. Beyond driving the offshoring project, you will over time also have the opportunity to support other projects within Business Development. Qualifications We expect you to have a relevant academic education, preferably a Master Degree within Business, Economics, Engineering or alike and relevant project management experience, ideally from a highly regulated industry such as the pharmaceutical industry. To succeed in this position strong project management skills, proven track record of successful change management and an open-minded and proactive mindset are prerequisites. Given the nature of this new role, it is essential that you are independent, self-starting, work in a customer-oriented way and are comfortable challenging common practices. You preferably possess a profound understanding of the production value chain and its overall processes. You are a strong communicator, who naturally and effectively navigates among multiple and diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organisation and have a proven ability to influence decision making. You understand organisational dynamics and how to create sustainable changes in a busy organisation and challenging environment. You are fluent in both written and spoken English.
