JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are a privately owned agricultural dealership whose three owners are actively involved in the business. We specialise in farming machinery and provide farmers with the very best farming equipment at reasonable prices all backed by a dedicated parts and service support team. We are XL Graduate Placement Ltd and we specialise in graduate recruitment for businesses across the United Kingdom. We seek graduate jobs that are a mixture of short term or business improvement projects which are most likely to lead to permanent graduate positions. The Graduate Role: This is a permanent graduate position available with a competitive salary of GBP25,000: GBP30,000+ commission + Car and phone. Graduate Job: This is a Graduate Agricultural role based in Shropshire. You would be required to undertake the following tasks: * Visiting farms in the area * Discussing machinery requirments with owner and/or farm manager * Demonstrating the equipment * Approving and Valuing any part exchange * Putting together quotations, following up and bringing to conclusions Graduate Skills requirement: The successful candidate will be degree qualified in Agriculture and have the following skills: * Sound knowledge of Agriculture * Preferably an Agriculture College diploma or degree * Self confidence * Strong communication skills * Good IT skills * Up to date knowledge of the needs of professional farmers and contractors * Previous agricultural sales experience would be an advantage though not essential * Desire to offer and achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction * Ideally have knowledge of either Shropshire, Hertfordshire, Shropshire/Worcestershire Please note that this graduate recruitment exercise is to identify a Graduate Agricultural Role for initially temporary graduate position based in Shropshire : all applicants will be expected to travel to this location for an interview and then each day of work.
