JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sales Ledger Clerk/Accounts Assistant Manchester City Centre £18,000 - £20,000 + Full Study Support I am currently working with one of the leading leisure organisations in the North West who are looking to appoint a Sales Ledger Clerk that is keen to develop into an Accounts Assistant role over the next 6 - 12 months. Due to a recent promotion the role has been made available and the company is looking to appoint someone who can hit the ground running in sales ledger but have ambitions to further themselves. Based at the business headquarters in Manchester City Centre this is an ideal opportunity for any Sales Ledger Clerks who feels that they are ready for the next step in their career. You will be working in a team of 12 staff and reporting to the Financial Controller where your primary duties will include; * Sales ledger management of all processes and invoicing * Producing a weekly cash flow forecast for the Financial Controller * Liaising with the credit control team regarding overdue or problem accounts As you build your experience further you will then be given the exposure to; * Management accounts preparation including commentary and analysis * Forecasting and budgeting * Accruals and prepayments To be considered for the unique opportunity you must be: * Currently working in a sales ledger position and be confident that you have the ability to make the step in with your career * Experienced in excel use daily and be familiar with Sage Line 50 or a similar accountancy package * Able to work in an open plan office environment therefore possess superb communication skills All applicants must provide a full and up to date CV.
