JOB DESCRIPTION:

A high achieving and successful school in Wakefield is seeking an experience teacher of English for work in September 2015. The successful candidate will need to be able to engage and support learners across Key Stage 3 and 4 and experience with A-Level students would be hugely beneficial. The school has a history of very strong exam results for their GCSE students and as such the successful candidate will need to be able to evidence that they can fit in to this environment and push their students to excel. As the successful English Teacher you will need to; - Be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education - Have the ability and experience of teaching English to KS3, KS4 and possibly KS5 - Have strong classroom management skills - Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary - Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team - Possess the passion to teach English Celsian Education has been placing teachers and teaching assistants since 1993 and operates throughout a network of offices across the UK enabling us to respond to your needs quickly and effectively.
