JOB DESCRIPTION:

Shore Recruitment are currently working with a very progressive Shop-fitting company who are currently looking to recruit a Setter-Out/CAD Draughts Person for their very busy Drawing Office.  Responsible for:  Production of accurate site and manufacturing drawings for comment and approval  Production and distribution of cutting sheets and other relevant information relating to the work  Main Roles:  Follow Client procedures and standards for the production, saving and distribution of drawings, cutting sheets and ironmongery and door schedules  Organise the printing, collating, recording and monitoring of all drawings and related documents for each individual project received in, eg from third parties and same as distributed by Client Clarify instructions received from in-house or from Client Carry out site survey(s) as necessary  Drawings to be reviewed by Drawing Office Manager prior to being released  Record and Report any additional time taken revising drawings that is above the standard time allowed  Ensure drawings and materials are approved and signed-off by Client team / Client Contract  Manager  Arrange and organise distribution of samples  Ensure drawings and cutting sheets, etc are produced and distributed in a timely manner  Ensure any revisions / amendments are notified to the relevant individual(s) in a timely manner  Communicate clear and precise instructions to others (in-house and third parties)  Attend regular meetings with in-house team and third parties as necessary, (this may involve travelling outside the area)  Complete weekly Project Costing / Time Allocated Sheets correctly and honestly and have them signed off by the Manager  Other Duties:  Co-operate with management on all aspects of health and safety and assist in assessing workplace risks  Undertake any training as is necessary to ensure you remain competent to carry out your allocated tasks  Undertake any task not specified above that is deemed to be within the remit of the role  Experience in a setting-out / drawing office environment who will also have a woodworking background a must.  The successful candidate will have:  1) AutoCAD expertise  2) Experience in joinery.  You must be able to provide us with a portfolio of drawings from previous projects  If you feel you have the necessary skills please send your CV to Marissa Boxell at Shore Recruitment  This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/JobSeeking/Setter-OutCAD-Draughts-Person_job63424180.
