JOB DESCRIPTION:

An experienced Service Desk Analyst is required to join the team at an established social care and housing firm based in Darlington. You will be responsible for providing the caller with helpful IT Support over the telephone by diagnosing problems and offering guidance. You will try to resolve the majority of calls handled in the first instance and collect important information for other teams and departments to take proper action when escalations are required. You will be an experienced Service Desk Analyst who appreciates a technical challenge and a supportive work environment. You will also have a keen eye for detail along with strong technical and interpersonal skills Key Skills/ Experience Required: · At least 1 year’s experience aiding a P.C. environment · Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange user administration · A keen focus on customer service and organisational skills · Excellent communication skills and a polite telephone manner · Awareness of P.C. and peripheral hardware · Experience with Windows O/S XP, Vista and Windows 7 · Awareness of Microsoft Office applications · Ability to troubleshoot IT issues and knowledge of resolution tools.
