JOB DESCRIPTION:

Restaurant Supervisor PURPOSE To assist and support the Clubhouse Bar and Grill management team in managing and training employees. To set and maintain standards of service, which constantly meet and exceed guest expectations. To lead by example, nurture and develop individuals to deliver our product with knowledge and passion CONSISTENCY . To promote a helpful and professional image to all stakeholders, giving full co:operation to anyone requiring assistance. . To attend to customer queries and enquiries in a caring and helpful manner and with a commitment to dealing with their issues in a positive way. . Continually develop suggestions as to ways of increasing quality of service . To be able to proficiently upsell and to encourage other team members to do so at every opportunity, hence maximising profitability . Have an excellent knowledge of the resort and the facilities available to the guest, with particular reference to the golfing facilities. . Have a good working knowledge of the menu to enable you to assist guests in their choice of food and be able to recommend beverages to compliment these choices. . Have a good working knowledge of the Wine List to enable you to assist guests in their choice of wine to accompany the food choice and to be able to recommend bar beverages products with confident knowledge. . Assure that the Wine list is always up to date with; correct vintage, availability and that it is in a presentable 5* standard for our customers. . Deal with all operational customer feedback and communicate with the Clubhouse Bar and Grill management team . Complete daily report to record problems and financial information at the end of each shift . Complete daily cash up and close down procedures at the end of shift, . To ensure the quality and appearance of all front of house and back of house areas is as defined in the Certificate of Excellence . Oversee the allocation of work and monitor duties of the team to ensure standards are being maintained . Adhere to the appearance and grooming standards required by the hotel at all times . Service off all food and beverage to meet or exceed the Certificate of Excellence ensuring a 5* guest experience. . Ensure all of the Leading Hotels of the World quality assurance criterias are being achieved and maintained. COMMUNITY . To create a working relationship with other team members to ensure that the The Clubhouse Bar and Grill Vision is seamlessly delivered . Support and develop new team members in order to nurture individual skills and talents . Provide guidance to fellow team members to enable them to improve their performance . Assist with the recruitment and retention of new employees . Conduct coffee chats (as requested by the management team) in line with timetable set, identifying and developing individuals to enable them to succeed and progress .
