JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their team. The ideal candidate will ideally have inspection experience in: Welding (MiG / tig) Fabrication (Aluminium/Steel/Stainless Steel) Wet paint spray Powder coating Plating Assembly Faro Arm Experience (CMM) Key Tasks required by you are as follows: *Ensuring that all goods received through Goods Inwards are adequately inspected in line with applicable procedures *Shop floor inspections. *Final inspections. *Able to read engineering drawings and understand geometric tolerances. *Able to use mechanical inspection equipment. *Record and maintain evidence of inspections and tests results. *Ensure that all activities comply with all the relevant procedures and standards. *Raise the necessary documentation for FAIR s, concessions, non-conforming products etc when necessary. *Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, identifying deviation, common occurrences / route causes / assisting with preventative actions and on going improvements. *Identifying deficiencies and weaknesses. *Communicating quality systems and procedures to production staff and assist with promoting quality awareness and training. *5C s and general housekeeping skills. *Assisting with other quality related activities as they become necessary to ensure the smooth running and operation of the quality management systems, in order maintain and achieve company policies. *Proactive / confident / team member / effective & assertive communicator. *Self starter and requires minimal supervision. *Good written and verbal communication skills *Computer literate in Microsoft Office *Willing to work overtime.
