JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title:Capital Accountant Location:Long Stratton Salary:£25,440 - £28,746 per annum Our client is a local council. They are now looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Finance professional to help them with this next stage of their journey. They are seeking a part qualified CCAB or AAT qualified Accountant to join their busy Accountancy team. You will be keen to progress in your qualifications and they will provide financial support to help you to do this. Reporting to the Senior Accountant you will provide a capital accounting service to budget managers within the Council and take the lead in preparing the Council s capital budget and fixed asset entries in the financial accounts. You will also contribute to the Treasury Management activities of the Council. You will have experience in capital budget preparation and monitoring processes and accounting for fixed assets as well as providing advice to non-financial managers.
