Experienced in highway maintenance operations such as grass cutting, sweeping, drainage cleaning, etc.
To be fit and in good health
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
CSR, or equivalent, qualification

JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB DUTIES : Ensure the safety of themselves, the workforce, public, or any other person affected by your duties and responsibilities Actively promote Health and Safety in the workplace, setting a good example to other employees and ensuring awareness of and compliance with general Health and Safety responsibilities as set out in current guidance and legislation Install and remove planned traffic management in accordance with Chapter 8 Implement emergency traffic management in line with company procedures and method statements Provide notification to the Traffic Incident Control Centre, as required, on commencement and end of winter maintenance and occupation of motorway road space for traffic management requirements Provide initial on site emergency response while working safely and manage any specialist contractors at the scene of road related incidents, hazards and collisions For further details please see https://www.jobtrain.co.uk/gam/displayjob.aspx?jobid=405 OTHER INFO : This post is based in Belfast but the successful applicant will be required to work throughout Northern Ireland.
