Key Account Manager Monday to Friday £50,000 + Bonus   The Role Key Account Manager   This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to join a well-established and growing logistics and transportations company. Reporting to the Country Manager you will provide support to the Sales Team and Customer Service Team. You will be an experienced Key Account Manager with proven ability to maintain long term relationships and maximise sales. This role is predominantly based in Heathrow, however you will be expected to visit other sites to fulfil your duties. Your main roles and responsibilities will include:   • Build and maintain long term relationships to develop key accounts • Grow and develop existing clients, together with generating new business opportunities • Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions. • Manage SLA’s to ensure customer excellence   • Play an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients. • Write business plans for all current and opportunity tender business • Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel. • Participate in the annual performance appraisal and objective setting scheme • Manage the Customer Service Team based in our client’s Manchester office   The Candidate Key Account Manager • Experience within the road / freight industry is highly desirable • Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales and display an attitude that is key to success • Strong account management and relationship building skills • Experience of managing major national accounts • Highly self-motivated with a passion for business development • Experience leading a team   The Company Key Account Manager   Our client is a leading global provider of comprehensive logistics and transportation solutions.
