LOCATION: Positions available in Barnsley, Leeds & Sheffield JOB TITLE: Hairdressing Apprentice SALARY & BENEFITS: £National apprentice wage + Paid holidays, training and great benefits including: ‘Earn why you learn’ – ‘Gain valuable experience’ – ‘Create you own future’. WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday – 35 hours per week THE ROLE: Our Client is a company specialising in tailor-made Hair & Beauty training programmes for ambitious individuals who are looking to gain qualifications and experience within this industry. They are now looking for people who want to make Hairdressing a career. You will work with some of the world’s best hairdressers and have many exciting opportunities available to you! You will be working towards a Level 2 and Level 3 in Hairdressing and Barbering - Plus Math and English level 1. The Key Responsibilities for the role:- - Communicating with clients - Answering the telephone and making an appointment for clients - Creating and maintaining client record cards - Measuring and mixing of hair colours Consultation with clients, dealing with them in a sensitive manner Offering advice and help to solve any hair problems - Processing payments from clients - Stock control - Developing working relationships with managers, supervisors and fellow employees - And many more - the list is endless. THE CANDIDATE: We are looking for a people who are enthusiastic and passionate about learning the skills and creativity of hairdressing. Key skills and experience preferred:- - A minimum of 6 GCSE s at grade B to D, although we will consider lower qualification the candidates with the right attitude and behaviours. - An interest in Hairdressing - Ability to communicate with clients in a professional but friendly manner.
