JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role purpose: As part of the finance team, the accounts clerk will work closely with other team members as well as with the wider commercial team. Liaison with site based staff is essential to ensure approval for a variety of documents and to ensure accurate and timely processing on the Oracle cost-capture system. Key Accountabilities: To process accurately: * Purchase ledger and sub-contract invoices and applications * Staff expenses * Internal Cost Recharges * Weekly Payroll input for operatives and staff * GRN input * Filing * Purchase cards Key Responsibilities: * AP Invoice workflow and obtaining authorization from site * Sub-contract invoice/application processing * Staff expenses coding/ keeping expense spreadsheet * GRN input * Some query handling * Payroll timesheet input/checking/dealing with any pay issues * Post/Filing/Copying * Purchase card checking and preparing journal Skills Required: Essential: * Data Input Experience * Good Communication skills * Accuracy and attention to detail Please note this role is for a 3 moth contract and is for an immediate start.
