JOB DESCRIPTION:

Functions & Events Coordinator Salary; £10,026.00 - £10,537.00 per annum (pro rata to £20,052.00 - £21,074.00 per annum) 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE) Weekend and evening working is essential. The College operates a number of resources that are used on a commercial basis outside of core teaching periods. Due to an increase in the level of bookings and functions taking place, we now require a dynamic, customer focused individual to supervise and manage these functions. This will include supervising the provision of catering, cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, security and residential services. You will ensure that all services operate efficiently and to agreed standards. In addition to College staff you will also supervise contract staff. You may also be engaged in promoting the College facilities to potential clients and be responsible for taking bookings and recording this using the established booking systems. Requirements: You will have excellent communication skills with a commitment to providing first class customer service. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of working with members of the public. You must be a Personal Licence Holder and ideally hold a hospitality based qualification. You will have a flexible approach to your working hours as evening and weekend working will be a key requirement of this role.
