Market Leading High Street Retailer has an immediate opening for a results driven and customer focused Deputy Manager for a brand new store in Haverfordwest, paying £18,000 - £21,000 + excellent bonus potential and a structured career path. A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for an inspirational and people focused deputy manager to manage a small sales team to achieve success. As a deputy manager you will support the store manager in the following: - Supporting your team in development through effective coaching, training, performance management and reviews. - Leading your sales team to drive performance and achieve KPI s and sales results - Ensure you are compliant and that responsible lending occurs at all occasions - Control stock, product depreciation and maintenance to maximize profitability - Participate in new marketing and promotional activity within your community - Support customers in finding appropriate resolutions to payment queries and issues To apply for this role we are looking for an experienced and aspirational retail or hospitality manager who can demonstrate the following: - A proven track record in achievement of sales and targets - A strong leader of people with exceptional leadership, motivation and developing skills. - Confident in communicating across all levels and the ability to influence and deal with difficult situations - A background in working in a regulated environment that is fast paced and customer facing. - A background in managing debt or collections would be a strong advantage. We are keen to speak to managers who have previously worked within the gambling industry, electrical or furniture sales, sub prime sector, hospitality or pub management. You will also have experience working as a store manager, department manager, sales manager, deputy manager or assistant manager.
