JOB DESCRIPTION:

SAMMONS RECRUITMENT are currently recruiting for an experienced Customs Clerk / Administrator for one of our leading clients within the Freight Forwarding industry. Candidates should have experience in claiming UCN s, classifying and customs clearing goods with an excellent working knowledge and understanding of logistical and customs procedures Duties will include completion of CVED and arranging payment to Port Health Authority, PHILIS declarations, ensuring correct preference is applied to goods, invoicing appropriate duty and VAT amounts along with supporting other offices with advice and customs clearances. Good all round administration and computer skills are required. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in a similar environment ** All qualified applicants with current entitlement to work in the UK (including for example Tier 1 visas) are welcome.
