JOB DESCRIPTION:

Customer Contact/Relations Officer Fixed Term Contract until 26 August 2016 £19,928 to £23,317 per annum 36.5 hours per week (rota basis) We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our high performing team working within our Customer Services Centre in Birmingham. This is a unique opportunity to work across two of our key customer service activities, dividing your time between our Customer Relations and Customer Contact functions. The successful applicant will have excellent written communication skills and ideally have experience of investigating and resolving complaints. You will need to be able to manage your own workload effectively to ensure that deadlines are achieved and a high quality service is provided to our customers. The ability to work well under pressure and respond to difficult issues positively is essential, as the post holder will be required to respond to high volumes of telephone calls including resolving complex and contentious issues. We are seeking to employ someone on a full time fixed term basis but in a dual role, fulfilling the responsibilities of both our Customer Contact and Customer Relations Officer roles.
