JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client is looking to recruit a Contract Administrator to join their manufacturing business on a part time basis initially on a 6 month FTC basis. They are a family-owned manufacturer of specialist components for the automotive, aerospace and power generation industries The role will report directly into the Director/Company Secretary and they will initially be looking for the role to be undertaken 16-20 hours per week. The duties in role will be as follows: Contract review and negotiation * Review new sales orders for contractual changes * Review proposed customer contracts, terms & conditions, non-disclosure agreements etc. and coordinate the company s response ensuring that all aspects (i.e. commercial, legal, quality, logistics, IT etc.) are properly dealt with * Liaise with the company s legal advisors as necessary * Administer/facilitate all contract negotiations, tracking and documenting all relevant changes * Administer database of all existing contracts and summarise key contract terms * Communicate key contract terms within the business, check compliance with contract requirements * Coordinate the company s response to all customer requests for certifications, ensuring that confidential and commercially sensitive information is not disclosed * Assist with developing proforma contracts for the business * Ensure that customer and company requirements are reflected in contracts with suppliers and subcontractors * Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers of goods and services Insurance * Liaise with company s insurance brokers to ensure that key risks are adequately insured against, where appropriate * Ensure that insurance required by customer contracts is in place * Liaise with directors to ensure that they understand the extent of the company s insurance cover, including those risks which are not insured for * Deal with any insurance claims that arise Skills/Experience Required * Legal/contract management experience, including contract law * Commercial experience highly desirable * Excellent communicator, both written and verbal * Good IT skills (Word, Sharepoint) In return my client offer a competitive package, and benefits including pension, private healthcare and 25 days holiday.
