A fantastic opportunity for a catering student fresh our of college !!! My client is a beautiful hotel located 20 minutes from Cardiff and is ideal for business, weekend breaks , weddings and dining out. The seasonal changing menu is A La Carte and lovingly prepared by the award wining head chef and AA Rosette team. As a Commis Chef / Demi Chef De Partie you will be reporting to the Sous Chef assisting the brigade in the smooth running of daily operations. Preparation of high quality food ensuring the highest standards are met at all times, in line with company regulations. Being a team player with a flexible nature to be able to assist colleagues and the running of sections. You will gain great experience as a Commis Chef / Demi Chef De Partie with the opportunity to work with a highly reputable Chef. Your Responsibilities as a Commis Chef / Demi Chef De Partie.. Striving towards quality & consistency in a busy environment to Rosette standard cooking, Maintain Health & Hygiene standards as company regulations dictate Flexible, work in a team and be able to work on various sections within the kitchen. Adaptable to a changing environment and be able to react with speed whilst maintaining standards, with a cool demeanour. The ideal Commis Chef .... • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred or fresh out of catering college looking to begin their career in a high quality establishment !! • Flexible approach as there will be a requirement to work on a shift basis, including evenings & weekends. • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive can do attitude. • Passionate about the industry, with good knowledge of the food industry. • Creative flair with a passion for progression to go from Commis Chef to Chef De Partie • Ultimately team player, with a reliable and caring attitude. • Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate Salary: £14,500 – 15,000.00 plus company benefits Why Use Time 4 Recruitment Solutions Limited?
