JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a great opportunity for an experienced catering manager. The catering manager will be managing one of our new contracts within a retail store in Southend, Essex. You will oversee a busy instore restaurant /coffee shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the catering industry and manage the unit as if it is their own.  The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of  P&L accounts and increasing sales. The role involves being responsible for all aspects of the management and administration of the catering operation, and you will be expected to have a hands on involvement in managing the coffee shop.  We expect excellent customer service and good management skills Ideal candidate * Will be results driven * Experience within a retail catering environment * Relevant management experience within the catering and hospitality industry * Standards and quality driven management style * Sound knowledge of Hygiene, Health and Safety * Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery * Good understanding of P&L accounts including labour budget * Interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills * A Can do attitude * Financial and commercial acumen * Computer literacy
