JOB DESCRIPTION:

CAKE DECORATORS NEEDED FOR FRONT OF HOUSE CUSTOMER SERVICE ROLE in our new Store! *Please note this is a not a cake decorating position, nor we are looking to train anyone to be a cake decorator, however with having the knowledge and expertise you may be required to fill gaps where necessary. With being a Cake Decorator you would already have: 1. Experience in baking, knowledge of the construction of cakes and cake decorating techniques are all essential in order to sell AND advise our customers when enquires are made; Understanding the requirements for working with cakes as you will be taking orders from customers who require their special cake for their special day. 2. Computer skills, Telephone Skills, Microsoft Office Skills, Good level of communication in the English language both verbal and written, Strong work ethic, Ability to work on your own and under pressure, Ability to work with a team and be a leader by setting positive examples. Shifts will be 5 days between Mon-Sat so you will be expected to work over weekends.  A food and hygiene safety certificate is compulsory for this job as you will be handling food. As we sell baked products in store. In short: At least 1yr experience, ability to help customers decide and advise where all aspects of celebration cakes are concerned + the ability to work as part of a team anywhere in the bakery.
