Mobile Web Developer If joining a rapidly-growing team with an ambitious vision for the role of mobile web development is the kind of challenge that gets you excited, then this could be exactly what you’re looking for. What will you actually be doing? Joining a growing specialist team at an incredibly exciting time for our mobile business, you’ll use your expertise to help us reach the next level of mobile eCommerce innovation and usability. Taking on a key role within our cross-functional Agile team, you’ll help us to develop and support mobile optimised websites and RESTful APIs that will create and deliver an engaging experience for Next customers all over the world. You’ll also help to provide essential technical support, both during the working day and in pre-scheduled out-of-hours shifts. You’ll work closely with your team and other departments to help develop, test and deliver the very best mobile solutions for the business, continually displaying the kind of versatility and flexibility needed to meet challenging and wide-ranging briefs. So, who’s right for the job? With a minimum of 2 years of outstanding experience with C# .Net web development, you’ll have the vision and innovation to deliver truly exceptional mobile web solutions. A confident and flexible individual, you’ll bring a broad range of specialist skills to the role – demonstrating expertise in .Net Framework, MVC, HTLM, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server 2008+ and more. Experience in web service integration, WCF services and IIS Configuration would also be useful. A degree in computer science, or equivalent, would also help in this role. Well organised and self-motivated, you’ll have the confidence and initiative to take responsibility for delivering challenging and complex projects. And, essentially, you’ll be passionate and enthusiastic about helping to drive forward a bold and ambitious new mobile vision for Next.
