JOB DESCRIPTION:
Vineyard Manager Our client is a rapidly expanding and diversified group of organic/biodynamic food and drink businesses, ranging across dairy, meat and alcohol, based in North Hampshire. They specialise in producing high quality products which are sold nationally in premier food halls, multiples and prestigious restaurants. A position has arisen for a hands-on “Vineyard Manager”. They have 22 acres of organic and biodynamic vines producing sparkling wine, the position will be responsible for looking after & maintaining this whilst working with our laboratory team. Their microbiology laboratory is the only licensed soil food web laboratory in Europe. Their wine making consultant is Tony Jordan, who is internationally recognised as one of the best new age winemakers who until recently headed up Moet Hennessy’s Australian/New Zealand operation. The position requires a person passionate about vines and wine to with a viticulture degree to manage the upkeep of the Vineyard. This will include spraying, general maintenance and tractor driving.
