In your role as a George Colleague, you have a great opportunity to welcome customers, talk to them, sell to them and make their shopping trip so memorable. We treat our customer service very seriously, and to help us continually improve our standards of service, we have a mystery shopper survey. Everyone’s target is 100% and you should always aim for 100% service to every customer you serve. We should also be passionate about the standards of shop keeping on the sales floor. We also expect you to be passionate about great shop keeping, driving your wastage down and the sales up. Everyday matters We’re proud of our warm and friendly service. It’s what our customers love and have come to expect. So we’ll always expect you to: - Be friendly, welcome every customer with a smile and say hello. Give every customer your full attention whilst listening to their requests. Remember to give warm and friendly service - Talk about your products – advise customers on lines that could compliment their purchases i.e. ties with shirts - Merchandise products in size order - Ensure all products have correct hanger and size lozenge - Ensure Belts, buckles, laces, buttons are fastened - Never walk past items on the floor – pick them up immediately and put them back in the correct location - Have Maximum availability and maintain this at all times - Check the warehouse if an item is not on sale, and wow your customers by sourcing and out of stock product from another store - Take part in the daily rumble process in store where all colleagues stop the tasks that they are doing and size and tidy a zone that has been allocated to them by the George Manager - Keep fitting rooms clean and tidy - Assist with customer queries and complaints - And much more!!
