JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic midwives to join our team as Band 7 team leaders at our Freestanding Midwifery Unit at Barts Health, Newham University Hospital. Barts Health NHS Trust has a world-wide reputation for innovation in the care of mothers to be, each birth is very special to us and we strive to make every birth as normal as possible, no matter what the complications. Our local community is home to families from a diverse mix of ethnicity, social and health needs. We have a Level 3 Neonatal Unit situated at the Royal London Site, a Level 2 Neonatal Unit situated at the Newham Site and we have excellent facilities in Fetal Medicine. Newham Hospital is situated in the heart of East London and we have easy access to very good public transport links. We provide Maternity Services to approximately 6700 women a year and accommodate our women in very modern up to date facilitates. We have co-located midwifery-led unit and a stand-alone midwife-led unit at Barking.
