JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Catholic Partnership Supply Service would like to welcome a committed teaching assistant to apply for this position in a Solihull Catholic primary school. This is a position to support pupils on a day to day basis starting as soon as possible. This school has a strong Catholic ethos and has been praised by parents for it s family atmosphere by providing a safe and supportive environment enabling pupils to build self esteem. Key factors in the school s successes are their dedication in working in close partnership with parents, carers and outside agencies. The staff has high expectations that pupils will behave well, and they do. Relationships throughout the school are good with real respect shown for one another. Competent and encouraging teaching underpins the school s warm and caring atmosphere. CPSS are keen to recruit a skilled teaching assistant with experience of Foundation stage and key stage 1 to take responsibility of supporting pupils within the school. The successful TA will cater to the needs of the children and develop excellent working relationships with children and staff members. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience with children with special needs.
