JOB DESCRIPTION:

Systems Developer ∬ernal IT Support We are currently recruiting on behalf of an ICT provider based in Stockton On Tees. This role will give you the exciting opportunity of creating and building systems from the ground up, you will be given the freedom to use your expertise to deliver on our projects in the methods you see fit. You will have the opportunity of being at the forefront of a cutting edge business and gaining the satisfaction of making it better. In addition to this you will be responsible for looking after our internal IT users, dealing with internal issues and resolving our teams support cases. Software development This will be a varied role - ranging from making small modifications to our current off the shelf software through to designing and building new programs, systems, processes and applications (systems development). You will be required to build and/or improve the internal systems and processes used within our business. This will require you to create bespoke applications, processes, workflows and systems and to integrate our various systems together (which include Sage Accounts/ Payroll, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft CRM) to streamline our operations using a variety of coding languages and development tools. You will be writing software so it is expected that you will be adept at writing code and learning code in a variety of languages - we do not have a preference in terms of particular codes/ languages that you write in - we will leave that choice up to you, however there may be situations where you are required to write in specific languages so you must have the ability to learn quickly. In the short to medium term working solely on in-house projects for our systems.
