JOB DESCRIPTION:

A fantastic care provider in the heart of the country is looking to bring a Support Worker into their well-established charitable organisation. The setting is incredibly unique, set in 160 acres of land with an organic farm, orchard and wood workshop. A Victorian country house has now been utilised for residential purposes and houses ten service users with eighty residents across the estate. In your new role, you will be supporting adults, ranging from 18-75 who have learning disabilities, mental health problems and other support needs. You will be supporting the people in their day to day activities enabling them to live a more fulfilled life and promote their independence. Previous experience working with learning disabilities is a must, you need to have a full driving licence, be willing to learn and be able to think on your feet. The opportunity is a temporary to permanent role and will be 37.5 hours a week. The person will stay on permanently after twelve weeks.
