RHL, specialists in Technical, Engineering & Scientific talent acquisition, is currently recruiting for; Title: Supply Chain Planner Location: Atherstone Status: 12 months Contact: Rachel Oliver Reference No: 214379 My client is a global technology company looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner. The role will be to support the site supply chain operationally and with the SAP implementation. The main area of the role is Planning, Scheduling and Reporting. You will work closely with the business unit / division to understand customer requirements and forecasts. Analyses short- to mid-term supply chain capacity to determine equipment loading and staffing resources. Responsible for establishment procurement, manufacturing, and distribution plans, and executing them to meet current and future customer / business requirements. Makes routine planning adjustments to assure schedule attainment. Co-ordinates phase in / phase out and/or new product introduction activities to maximise customer service and meet business requirements. Reviews and recommends major supply chain parameter changes to management and implements agreed upon plan. Develops and regularly reports supply chain performance, metrics (cycle time, customer service, inventory level, etc). You will also participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process as required. The candidate will have a BA degree in Supply chain management, production operations management, materials management, or engineering, or a demonstrated course of study in any of those areas as part of a Bachelors degree program, is preferred. APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certification. You will be an experienced professional that can apply analytical, statistical, and planning skills to interpret various sources of data to manage and improve the supply chain performance. Applies business knowledge to ensure plans support business needs and goals. You will demonstrate a general knowledge of product performance and customer requirements. Initiates, leads, and implements the process of supply chain problem identification to resolution.
