JOB DESCRIPTION:

SQL Server Development Database Administrator DBA - T-SQL, SSRS, SQL Server 2005/2008/2012. SQL Server DBA with ambition and superb attention to detail to work with one of the worlds most prestigious non-profit organisations. The institute is leading the way in business education and is heading in a very exciting direction, with huge growth plans to their IT function in providing services to other departments. You will be working closely with the infrastructure team to paint the way for the future of the of the organisations IT development. The SQL Server DBA will be managing the databases and Windows Servers. To take ownership of the production and development SQL Server database systems, ensuring optimal performance and resolve any problems that occur whilst engaging in database development projects and administration. DBAs interested should have a strong experience in developing T-SQL scripts, producing SQL reports for various departments via SSRS/SSIS and familiarity of configuring and maintaining SQL databases using SQL 2005/2008/2012. Along with this the DBA will have knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving data problems.
