JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Microbiologist (pharmaceutical) Our client a leader in pharmaceutical production and development are currently recruiting for a Senior microbiologist on shift (6-2, 2-10) to join their team on a permanent contract The Role will include – Monitoring the quality of components, raw materials, products, production processes and production environments by inspection, sampling and/or analysis, in order to facilitate the accurate and timely release of company products Critically reviewing data and checking all work performed by other Senior Technicians and Technicians Performing training of other Technicians Undertaking non-routine testing and monitoring, equipment calibration, method development and validation Sampling and inspecting components, raw materials, intermediates, products, production processes and/or production environments What do we need? Previous micro lab experience is a must as is a formal qualification in microbiology or related subject. Aside from this, we need - Previous microbiology laboratory experience is a must Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment Sound experience and understanding of GMP Knowledge and understanding of GLP would be highly advantageous Educated to degree level or equivalent This is a shift role, so only apply if you’re willing to work 6am-14;00 pm M-F and 14:00-22:00pm M-F (the following week).
