JOB DESCRIPTION:

SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER Senior Mechanical Design Engineer £50,000 - 70,000 + competitive bonus / pension London - within walkable distance of Waterloo Train Station as well as Green Park, Westminster and Embankment Tube Stations I am working with an award winning, multi- disciplinary engineering consultancy, who are looking to add a senior mechanical design engineer to their existing, successful design team. They have recently won a number of major projects, including a multi- million pound high- end residential development, a brand new green- energy education facility and development works on several major heritage buildings. They require a highly- skilled design engineer, with a passion for creative and innovative mechanical design, who has experience working on both new- build and development projects. They are looking for an individual to take hold of multiple projects, and lead the design processes for these and future works. Ideally, you will have experience in the following areas: - BSc / MSc in Mechanical Engineering ( or related discipline) - Strong background in Consulting design - Essential skills within HVAC design such as Hevacomp calculations, IES modelling, duct sizing and pipe sizing on a range of complex design projects from inception, through to detailed handover. - Responsibility of projects, including the production of detailed design and calculation. - Experience with liaising with client, architect and contractor. - Green energy projects or environmental engineering - Engineering Chartership ( or intention to gain) - Membership of a recognised Engineering Institute If you feel like you are ready to take the next step in your career, or would be keen to join an organisation with strong engineering values and a project book full of exciting work, please don’t hesitate to get in touch ( / / ) .
