JOB DESCRIPTION:

Search Executive are currently looking for an Operations Director for a global company who design and manufacture high technology products and solutions to a number of markets including Medical, Life Sciences, Aerospace and Defence. The Operations Director reports directly into the Vice President of European Operations and is there to maintain and improve Operational Efficiency to ensure the highest level of quality, customer service and profit margins. The Operations Director will be responsible for the Materials Management, Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Facilities and Compliance teams and will provide leadership and vision to the whole company. You will need to ensure the correct processes are in place for the site and ensure the resources are there to be able to fit with the agreed strategy. You must be able to ensure customer delivery schedules are adhered too, key performance metrics are delivered upon, budgets are prepared, quality standards are met, continuous improvements are developed and implemented and above all ensure a safe working environment for your staff. As Operations Manager you must be a strategic thinker, results driven, possess excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with all levels of the business and always strive to project a positive attitude and a credible role model to the staff.
