Nursery Nurse Coventry To £7.00 per hour This 70 place childrens nursery near Coventry is currently recruiting for a Nursery Nurse to join their excellent team. Purpose of job: The Nursery Nurse will be working as key person to provide a high standard of care and education using the company model for children between the ages of six weeks and five years within the Nursery setting. Key duties: Deliver a range of activities in line with your qualifications and the company model. To supervise meal times as appropriate within the centre. To provide activity support to other sessional workers in their delivery of the programme. e.g. setting up activities. To embrace the concept that children and families remain the focus of the centre activities. Seek to establish and maintain positive working relationships with the children and families you are caring for. A full job description is available upon application The successful candidates will have: Recent, relevant practical experience of working with children A minimum of NVQ Level II, NNEB, BTEC or equivalent for qualified posts, a desire to undertake these qualifications for unqualified posts A desire to continue with formal education Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times A flexible, adaptable and positive attitude A passion for providing and promoting an outstanding service Salary and hours You will work 36 hours per week, between the hours of 8am - 6pm, 4 days per week Monday to Friday The hourly rate is to £7.50 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
