JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lecturer - Media Full time - 37 hrs p/w Salary range £24,668 - £28,569 p/a depending on experience We are on a journey to being Outstanding. You will pass on your specialist knowledge, and will be developing skills for the future. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Arts team. This role will provide the successful candidate with a fantastic opportunity to teach on and contribute to a variety of programmes from Level 2 through to Level 6, across a range of student cohorts. The role requires confident delivery of a broad range of arts specialisms. Knowledge of video, media theory, communication skills, pre-production, research techniques for TV/Film or radio and single camera production. Candidates with knowledge and experience of editing skills within Premiere and Final cut would be desirable. If successful, you will support the delivery of a range of courses so will need to hold a degree in film, media or TV. A teaching qualification would be advantageous, but is not essential. We welcome applications from people in industry, and will provide support to obtain your professional teaching qualification in-house. You will be a self starter, who can quickly build relationships, with excellent organisation and planning ability. This is a great opportunity to invest in the next generation of professionals.
