About You. You will be student focused, enthusiastic and absolutely committed to building successful outcomes for nurses of the future. An experienced and effective teacher (or with evidence to suggest you will develop into an effective teacher in higher education environments) you will further enrich the students nurse education experience, understanding and skills acquisition. You will be excited by providing effective personal tutor support, advancing your own knowledge and expertise as well as maintaining currency by linking with our practice learning partners. With a professionally registered qualification (Part 1 NMC Register) and the minimum of a good relevant honours degree, you will also demonstrate a team focus, a flexible approach and a flair for good communication. Organisation and self-management skills are essential for this role along with the ability to deal with workload pressures and a commitment to the delivery of an excellent student experience. The role involves planning and providing an excellent teaching and learning experience and personal tutoring responsibilities to enrich the students experience at Edge Hill University. The role demands a commitment to student-centered learning; and will involve teaching and leading on agreed modules and wider engagement in curriculum development.
