Summary We have a fantastic opportunity for a Labelling Assistant to join our Quality Standards team. Quality Standards sits within the Product Quality Function and this role sits in the Nutrition and Product Information team. The team are responsible for developing the technical policies and standards for product labelling, monitoring compliance to Tesco labelling policy, supporting new product labelling sign off and providing technical data and insight to the wider business. In this role you will support the Labelling Managers to ensure product labels meet Tesco policy. You will also liaise with third party labelling & artwork consultants and with the enforcement team and officers on labelling challenges. Main Responsibilities Key Accountabilities * Support the labelling managers to ensure that our product labels meet Tesco policies. * Be the technical go to contact for labelling queries and become the technical expert on non-food labelling. * Managing relationships with any external bodies, partners, or contractors. * Maintaining up to date understanding of regulatory issues surrounding non-food labelling in order to keep the business up to date * Support the development of non-food labelling policy, documents and systems * Support implementation of non-food labelling projects, such as the roll out of new documents * Support and organise internal and external meetings * Support team hub site management Key KPIs * The business is compliant with labelling requirements * The business are aware of up and coming non-food legislative requirements * The labelling managers are supported in driving improvement Ideal Candidate * Preferred degree level qualified in suitable subject * Experience of labelling requirements is desirable, with a desirable but not an essential, focus on non-food labelling. * Strong engagement and communication skills * IT (Microsoft Office and SharePoint) * Managing relationships with colleagues, external experts and stakeholders * Commercial awareness * Presentation skills
