Location: Strixton, Northamptonshire (near Wollaston) Job Title: Software Support Consultant Type: Permanent Salary: £12-15k Basic (Dependent on experience) Benefits: Pension, Childcare Vouchers, Bike2Work scheme, Perkbox Employee Discount Scheme (gym, cinema, etc) THE ROLE: As a Software Support Consultant you work directly with our existing customers delivering support to them on our ATS (Applicant Tracking System). Support is delivered via phone, email and gotomeeting sessions with occasional client visits. You will also get involved in producing support manuals/user guides for our customers. Once you have established a strong knowledge of the systems we use then you will be able to get involved in helping to design and implement systems for new clients and delivering training to their users. CAREER DEVELOPMENT: Working in our small and fast paced company you will be developing skills in a wide range of areas that include customer support, training, documentation and eventually even managing customer implementation projects. The salary reflects that for the first year we will be investing in you and in return you will receive a modest remuneration after you have gained experience this will be reflected in your salary. YOU: You will need to be confident, intelligent, highly motivated and excellent communicator. Strong attention to detail and the ability to plan and organise multiple projects is essential. A strong broad knowledge of IT/Internet technologies is also required. Whilst we might not expect you to have experience programming we would expect you to understand the principles of how software and internet technology works. Ideally you will be of graduate calibre with excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. You will also need to be “IT Savvy” in that we don''t expect to teach you how the internet works. You will be a confident IT user happy to explore new software and develop your skills.
