JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hygiene Team Leader Manchester Lancashire FMCG Food Manufacturing We are recruiting for a Hygiene Team Leader on behalf of a leading FMCG Food Manufacturer based in Manchester. The Role: Reporting to the Hygiene Manager, you will be responsible for administration and ensuring the department runs smoothly on a day to day basis; communicating with relevant departments, where required, at all levels of seniority. In the absence of the Hygiene Manager, you will be the channel through which site management will seek hygiene advice. Further duties to include ensuring all company policies are adhered to strictly, updating KPI`s on a weekly basis and extracting data to forward on to relevant departments. Although experience in Hygiene is not essential, it is vital that the successful candidate is passionate about pursuing a career in Hygiene. Development and training to help the candidate to pursue a career in the field will be provided where deemed necessary. Responsibilities Include: To supervise and coordinate the Hygiene Team, including responsibility for scheduling holidays/ shifts. Completion and maintenance of environmental hygiene paperwork, weekly KPI s, ensuring departmental CIC schedules and sign offs are accurately followed and records are available at all times. Administration and recording of waste movements and amounts. To maintain GMP/Hygiene standards to exceed customer expectation. Working with Hygiene Manager to ensure that cleaning requirements are met within agreed deadlines, making best use of resources and materials. Actively implement new cleaning procedures and train operatives. To deploy staff effectively and motivate them to achieve best practice in all assigned tasks. Ordering of consumables, chemicals and PPE, stock taking to ensure availability of all required items. Monitoring of the hygiene labour and overheads budget. Liaise with the Hygiene Manager with the results of hygiene audits and swab results and corrective action is effective.
