JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are a small company based in Essendine near Stamford specialising in providing storage solutions for businesses with both our container and warehouse facilities. Our services also extend to specialist haulage with our own fleet of ADR articulated trailers. Demand is such that we have the exciting opportunity for someone to join our small team to assist the Trailer Fitter in maintaining the fleet. You will be working alongside our main fitter, primarily preparing and carrying out servicing, scheduled inspections, MOT preparation and general repairs. The position will require you to be responsible, hardworking, dedicated, capable of working on your own initiative and well organised. The job is a physically demanding role where good practical skills and the willingness to get stuck in is essential. The ideal candidate will hold a UK driving licence for which evidence will be required. Although not essential, Certificates of competence in arc or MIG welding would be desirable. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in the sites other varied storage activities and therefore a valid fork lift drivers certificate is also desirable. Hours are a minimum of 40hrs per week and rate of pay is dependent upon the overall skills of the successful applicant. This may also include some weekends and evenings during busy times.
