JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for an experience Health and Safety Officer to join their busy team down in the beautiful region of Cornwall. The successful candidate will promote Health Safety and Environmental awareness and best practice coordinating activities against a structured HS&E management system and improvement plan. Duties and Responsibilities: To coordinate HS&E activities in line with company policies and procedures Ensure that the local management team are aware of legislative and company requirements and their individual accountabilities Provide timely information locally and to the wider business on HS&E performance and improvement via KPIs, an Improvement log and overall HS&E Cockpit To optimise the value added by this role during the seasonal fluctuations in business activities additional objectives may be added with agreement of both line managers Responsible for reviewing the validity of all risk assessments annually, following an accident or incident, when work practices, site locations, equipment or legislation changes You will have previous experience of coordinating H&S in a manufacturing or agricultural business and hold a NEBOSH or IOSH Certificate.
