Balance & Beam Gymnastics are looking for a Gymnastics Instructor (Part Time) to join the team based in Stoke on Trent. The successful candidate will receive a salary of £6.00 - £6.50 per hour depending on experience. Are you an energetic, self-motivated individual seeking a fun and challenging opportunity working with children and teaching motor skill development through gymnastics based classes? Balance & Beam Gymnastics has been trading for over 9 years & are setting the standard for progressive motor-skill development, by providing children with a foundation of confidence through non-competitive, gymnastics-based programmes. Our Parent/Child, Pre-School and Primary School classes are all taught in a fun, safe and nurturing environment, which encourages children to develop at their own pace. We are currently seeking hard working, dependable individuals to help our business grow! As our Gymnastics Instructor you will be responsible for teaching non-competitive gymnastics classes to Pre-School and Primary School age children, as well as Parent/Child classes for children ages 4 months to 3 years. You will be working with a dynamic team of individuals who are committed to providing outstanding customer service and a membership experience for children and parents that is second to none. Daytime, evening and occasional weekends are generally required. Full training will be provided and there are excellent opportunities for career growth and advancement. This role would suit University student looking for early evening hours & weekend work. Typical responsibilities of our Gymnastics Instructor include (but are not limited to) the following: - Delivering the high standards of our gymnastics based developmental programme. - Know and understand our philosophy and programme - Communicate information correctly and professionally to parents - Conduct high quality classes whilst ensuring they are high energy and fun - Providing excellent customer service and building student enrolment To become our Gymnastics Instructor you must have the following qualifications and experience: - BGA Level One required. - A background in child development, physical education, gymnastics or drama is certainly a plus as is customer service experience.
