JOB DESCRIPTION:

An exciting opportunity for a junior graphic designer with an eye for detail and a professional approach, to join a leading Shropshire design and manufacturing hub of excellence. The right candidate will be creative, motivated, hardworking and design led. An ability to take a product or a brand, and develop a campaign to suit, with an understanding of fundamental design concepts and basic layout structure. A team player who is forward thinking and able to communicate with all people within our organisation. Working as part of the marketing team to support and develop ALL five key divisions and brands. The candidate will also work with our distribution network and overseas links. Five exciting divisions include: Client celebrating our 40 year anniversary this year, we are a key manufacturer for the Food and hygiene industries. Items from sinks, to full turnkey projects for large multinational brands Leading supplier to the veterinary industry, working with new practices, modified design and bespoke requirements Internationally renowned, industry leading innovative underwater treadmills for the canine industry, and also the human medical and sports industry Combining our wealth of knowledge and capabilities to subcontract and support clients with their manufacturing requirements. This role is extremely varied. Due to rapid expansion the marketing team are constantly developing new ideas, trying new avenues, and working to support the business in every aspect. The role of the Graphic Designer is a key part to expanding this further. Essential skills: Competent in developing design schemes for print and web Ability to learn and adapt to rapidly expanding business needs Be adaptable and able to work on simultaneous projects. Adobe Illustrator and InDesign (brochure design, stationery/print-work) Adobe Photoshop (graphical artwork creation, photo enhancement, web design, email campaign design, branding).
