JOB DESCRIPTION:

IT Manager opening has just been created by one of the UK’s fastest growing businesses. This is an exciting opportunity and one that will certainly evolve. This role will see you working in the capacity of IT Manager, essentially managing a number of third party suppliers and essentially taking ownership of their infrastructure and applications. Key responsibilities: Managing requests from internal and external stakeholders for changes to applications and platforms, including the eCRM platform, the website and the central member management system. Working with the relevant suppliers and the IT & Digital Director to assess, prioritise and schedule accepted changes. Proactively monitor IT systems to ensure they’re performing optimally, including the definition and implementation of automated testing and notifications for key systems. Keeping all systems up to date with the proper user access rights, role permissions, and accurate staff, gym and member information. Being primary point of contact for the regular (e.g. daily or weekly) supplier updates and reviews of support desk reports, maintenance reports, batch jobs, and automated notifications of uploads, exports, imports and back-ups. Key requirements: A wide ranging knowledge and interest in all IT systems, e.g. infrastructure, networks, software development, SaaS, etc. Experience of working with many stakeholders and suppliers Excellent understanding on the principles and practicalities of IT project definition, specification, testing and implementation Strong project management skills and an ability to deliver projects to agreed timescales For a full consultation on this role please email your CV to Rebecca or call on 01273 781800.
