FP&A Manager – Central Reporting EMEA Job purpose The FP&A Manager leads the management reporting, consolidation and analysis of the Yankee Candle EMEA results, budgets and forecasts including the analysis of foreign exchange impacts on the results. This involves having a thorough understanding of the business across EMEA in order to explain and forecast weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual results as well as playing an important role in the 5 year strategic planning process. The role will also build, maintain and develop the budget, forecasting and results processes and systems. The role includes the responsibility for the direct management and development of two supporting Finance Analysts. Responsibilities Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes Prepare and review the weekly forecasting process including the provision of insightful commentary developed with the business highlighting risks and opportunities Prepare and review the monthly consolidated results pack and deliver analysis to the Director of FP&A Own the budget and forecasting system in terms of maintenance and development Understand and be able to explain the impact of foreign exchange on the divisional results Build relationships with senior management in order to understand the business and the impact of operational changes on the financial results of the division Provide regular and ad-hoc support to the FD in terms of understanding and explaining financial results and forecasts Provide coaching, direction and management for the finance analysts Qualifications: Qualified accountant Experience of leading reporting, budgeting and forecasting cycles Experience of the FMCG sector ideally in an international, multi-currency business A proven track record of leading teams to deliver results that help drive a business forward Strong IT and data manipulation skills in both excel and a system based environment Key Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to build and maintain trust and respect with colleagues Ability to challenge and influence in a positive manner Determination and resilience to make things happen in a rapidly changing environment Ability to innovate and drive change Attention to detail and good analytical skills Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
