JOB DESCRIPTION:

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Coventry - £30,000 One of my best clients is a lifting and material handling company that manufacture a broad range of equipment to many different industries including Lifting, Manufacturing, Transportation, Energy and many more. They are actively looking for a Maintenance Engineer to install and maintain equipment on site to; To undertake tasks as assigned by the Maintenance supervisor in relation both to preventative maintenance and installation work. To assist other departments in the maintenance of plant and equipment to ensure the specified area functions correctly. To conduct routine preventative maintenance and inspections and report any relevant information to the Maintenance supervisor. To undertake training as requested in order to maintain good knowledge and understanding in the maintenance arena To ensure all work is carried out to the best possible level and that all work is undertaken in a safe manner. Qualifications needed; Time served apprenticeship. Ideally electrically biased. Min 5 GCSE s or equivalent Extensive maintenance experience in manufacturing environment supported by appropriate training. Electrical maintenance ability Ability to fault find on equipment - i.e. logically go through issues that may be contributing to the problem with machine. Ability to communicate technical issues to maintenance supervisor and others.
