LOCATION : Plymouth JOB TITLE: Motorhome / Caravan Service Technician SALARY and BENEFITS : Competitive salary : negotiable depending on experience WORKING HOURS : Monday:Friday 40 hours per week THE COMPANY : Our client, established in 1973, is the UKs largest dealer of new and pre:owned motorhomes and caravans in the UK. With 11 branches across England, this is an exciting company to join with excellent prospects. THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Motorhome / Caravan Service Technician to join an established and busy team based in Plymouth. This is a varied role that includes all works on the rear end of the vehicle. Key Responsibilities of the Service Technician to include:: Habitation Inspections Woodwork : Internal repairs Gas Repairs and instillation 12v and 240 volt repairs and installation Heating system diagnosis and repairs Fitting of accessories: Bike Racks, Awnings, TV aerials and Solar Panels Electrical diagnosis and repairs Warranty diagnosis and repairs *Please note, this may not be an exhaustive list of your day:to:day duties* THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, is friendly, outgoing with the ability to work in a team environment and to strict deadlines. Previous experience in the mechanical service industry is an advantage, but not essential. Alternatively if you are looking for a career change and have skills in carpentry this position may just what you are looking for.
