Friday Media Group, the UKs largest independent publisher, is rapidly expanding and were looking for a smart, driven and creative person to join our Marketing Team. We currently own a number of publications and over 80 websites, generating in excess of 12 million visits a month, with over 400 staff spread between offices in Pembroke, Brighton, Miami, Barcelona, Berlin, and Preston. The Opportunity Were on the lookout for a talented person keen to develop their skills and experience as part of a busy and thriving digital media group. Based in our Preston office, you will be joining our recruitment division team. By choosing to join the Friday Media Group Marketing team, youll have the opportunity to hone your skills supporting multichannel marketing campaigns across our brands. We will provide regular training and progression opportunities in key areas such as lead generation, outreach, analytics, SEM and traffic generation. Using your initiative, you will be working on driving the commercial and brand marketing of some market leading job board websites.Youll help manage and implement activity to grow revenue and brand awareness in both our B2B and B2C marketplaces. What youll be doing . Identifying audiences and individuals to generate leads for our sales teams. . Developing and implementing lead generation strategies and tactics to introduce our services to new markets and deliver leads to our sales teams . Relentless focus on user acquisition, conversion rates, analytics and continuous testing . Producing marketing materials to engage, develop and grow our audiences (existing and new) : creation of marketing and sales collateral to generate leads for sales teams (media sheets / media packs / print ads etc) . Creation of web landing pages / emails / on:site messaging to support lead generation and sales growth initiatives . Brand building : email, social media, online, offline activity to drive user and customer acquisition (both B2C and B2B) . Manage overall marketing reporting and dashboard to present KPIs to the team on a regular basis . Creating new marketing initiatives from concept through to design . Attend weekly business meetings, including reporting on campaign performance and return to key stakeholders. What You Need for this Position Were looking for a creative and commercially minded marketer whos not afraid to think outside the box. Youll need the drive to see things through from start to finish, and be able to manage and prioritise your time across several projects at once. Its also really important that youre confident connecting with people by email, social media, in person and over the phone. A good level of SEO knowledge would be a distinct advantage, and ideally youll have an eye for design too.
