JOB DESCRIPTION:

THE FOLLOWING OPPORTUNITY HAS BECOME AVAILABLE DEPOT MANAGER DARWEN .AN OPPORTUNITY TO FURTHER YOUR CAREER WITHIN TUFFNELLS PARCELS EXPRESS Reporting directly to the General Manager You will responsible for ensuring that all shifts operate at the highest standards, that the containers and equipment are readily available and vehicle loading and unloading is carried out efficiently. You will also be responsible for training and improving the skills levels and standards throughout the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will require excellent management skills, knowledge of organising a large workforce in a parcels or distribution environment would be advantageous as well as having a CPC qualification. To be successful in this role you will need to possess: Full Clean Drivers Licence Strong interpersonal and communications skills Ability to work on your own initiative A highly organised approach Strong teambuilding and leadership skills A positive approach to managing and motivating people Ability to make the right decisions under pressure The flexibility to go the extra mile Full commitment to providing excellent customer service Health and Safety and Vehicle compliance focused Your normal hours of work will be: Monday to Friday : 07:00 to 17.00 However, due to the nature of the position, you will be required to undertake working weekends and your start and finish times may vary to suit the needs of the business.
